Charming warm toned woven splint wood shaker style basket with hand carved wooden handle. The handle has a bit of a kink, perhaps from being bent/carved around a knot. This basket starts as a square and transforms to a rounded square at the opening. Wrapping and weave is tight and no breaks, in beautiful condition with many years of use left in it.
unfinished woven wood has some raised grain/feathering of wood as it ages.
