Beautiful Oversized wicker/rattan picnic basket with round bottom and wood bars so it can sit flat without tipping, two side opening at top. A giant rectangular rattan picnic basket suited for a large picnic spread! (please see measurements its very large and heavy when empty) Your butler may need to hire an assistant to carry this one. Would alternatively make a wonderful blanket or knitting basket with lots of space and hinged lid. They don't make them like this anymore!
Beautiful condition with no obvious breaks - two pieces of wicker attaching lid to frame are still intact on both sides, care should be taken to keep these from breaking in future use. One of the wood pieces at base has a loose/detached binding on one side but does not affect use. Wear consistent with age/use and many years of use left in this beauty!
