Beautiful piece for wall hanging or display. Face of plate has a blue border with geometric and floral design, and blue floral design at 3 areas on back. A combination of stencil and hand painted details on this Japanese blue and white serving plate. Plate measures 11" in diameter. A makers mark is impressed/stamped on back - compare to Sei Ji Kai Sha - Pure Water Company produced porcelain pieces in Arita between 1879-1897
wear consistent with age & use - a small chip on back/bottom near outer lip (see photos)
