Beautiful vibrant colors on this Hubley cast iron door stop. Hubley #484 sometimes referred to as Poppies this cast features a motif of colorful florals in a white basket on sky blue base with a pop of red in the center flower.
Hubley manufactured hand painted cast iron door stops, bookends, toys and other novelty items in Lancaster PA from late 1800's through 1940's. (Door stop molds were sold in 1948 so this dates these door stops between 1894 and 1948, but since later styles had stickers and not imprinted marks this item is likely from early 1900's)
