Incredible color on this Hubley 315 marigolds cast iron doortop c. 1900-1920. #315 marigolds features flowers in blue, yellow, pink in a cream/white vase with black base and a lovely handpainted single "fallen leaf" on the base.
Hubley manufactured hand painted cast iron door stops, bookends, toys and other novelty items in Lancaster PA from late 1800's through 1940's. (Door stop molds were sold in 1948 so this dates these door stops between 1894 and 1948, but since later styles had stickers and not imprinted marks this item is likely from early 1900's)
