Rounded rectangular food cover/lid from Villeroy & Boch in Blue fluted pattern.
There is not much information on this particular pattern produced by Villeroy & Boch in Blue Fluted design (most recognized producer of this pattern is Royal Copenhagen) but the Dresden stamp does date the pieces as 19th century (late 1800's approx 1874-1909). Incredibly beautiful these piece that has stood the test of time and would make incredible addition to a blue & white china collection.
Excellent condition, no cracks/chips. some crazing which is more visible along edge/lip - see photos
